Electrician - Facilities Services

Gettysburg College is seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) Electrician to work in the Facilities Services Department. This position performs a variety of duties to install, maintain and repair electrical systems on campus.  This position reports to the Mechanical Trades Supervisor. A high school education or the equivalent is required with some trade school preferred.  Five years of experience in electrical installation and repair is required.  Knowledge of high voltage systems is preferred. 

The successful candidate should have a valid PA driver's license or the ability to obtain one, have a clean driving record, to be able to work in extreme heat and cold, and to bend and lift heavy objects on a continual basis.
