Office Administrator - Admissions Office - (2 Positions)
Gettysburg College is seeking a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Office Administrator to work in the Admissions Office. This position performs a variety of secretarial, program support, clerical, and data entry functions for the Admissions Office. The successful candidate should have a high school diploma with data entry and clerical/secretarial experience. Additionally, the successful candidate should have knowledge of general office practices and procedures, word processing, spreadsheets, and electronic mail, as well as a willingness to develop new computer skills when necessary. Keyboarding and data entry skills are required. Knowledge of integrated management information systems is preferred. The following demonstrated abilities are desired: to communicate orally and in writing, to work independently and as a team player, to provide excellent customer service, to work with a variety of individuals in a harmonious manner, to maintain a high level of confidentiality, to meet deadlines successfully, and to maintain professionalism and courtesy under hectic and demanding conditions.
