Personal Comments: As a result of my attendance at the Institute I have instituted an elective course on Civil War Studies at my high school and taken numerous groups to the battlefield to give tours. My experiences at the institute have been, without a doubt, some of the highlights of my 35 years in education. The friendliness and fine atmosphere I experienced there have made for the pleasantest of memories. I can't say enough for CWI, its people and its program.

And besides, I've made a heck of a lot of great friends!
