Arguably the most interdisciplinary administrative assistant on campus, I have had the privilege of supporting many of Gettysburg's cutting-edge programs. As of March 2013, I have joined the departments of Mathematics and Computer Science. Both, I have been learning, are integral parts of a true liberal arts education, from the scholarly colloquia offered almost weekly throughout the semester to the celebration of Pi Day.
Previously on campus, I have worked with Interdisciplinary Studies (self-designed majors), Africana Studies, Globalization Studies, Public Policy, Film and Media Studies, Peace and Justice Studies, and Middle East and Islamic Studies/Arabic Language. For several years, while in IDS, I helped set up the London Seminar portion of Gettysburg's Interdisciplinary Study Abroad in England program. Prior to that, for two years I was a supervisor at the Circulation Department in Musselman Library.
