Manazher, "sights" or "views" in Arabic, features the photographic work and artifacts collected by Gettysburg College students and faculty during their travels to the Arab and Islamic World. For the first time on display at Gettysburg College, these materials capture the study and living experiences of our academic community in the Middle East.

Middle East and Islamic Studies (MEIS) is a new program at Gettysburg College funded by a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Students may choose MEIS as a minor, a self-designed major or as the regional track of a Globalization Studies major. In addition, students may take Arabic language courses at the beginning and intermediate levels.
