Karyn Miller joined Cultural Development Corporation (CuDC) in June 2007 as the Manager of Visual Arts and Communications. She is responsible for the management of the artist selection and recruitment process in the Flashpoint Gallery, as well as the coordination of the gallery's advisory panel. Karyn works closely with artists to provide guidance and incubation for each exhibition in the Gallery. She served as CuDC's Manager of Communications until August 2008 and oversaw all marketing and publicity for CuDC and spearheaded the organization's strategic marketing initiative. In September 2008, Karyn began working on the Creative Communities Fund (CCF) which provides funding and capacity-building support for individual artists partnering with non-profit organizations. Karyn manages the nomination and application process and works with individual awardees.  Karyn came to CuDC from Conner Contemporary Art, where she was the Gallery Director. In her five years with Conner Contemporary, she organized and installed numerous exhibitions, reviewed submissions, liaised with clients and media, curated select exhibitions and oversaw publications.


The Arts Council's mission is to cultivate an arts-rich community.  The exhibition is held in partnership with Schmucker Art Gallery and the Gettysburg Festival, an annual celebration of arts, culture and cuisine.  For more information, visit,, or contact the Arts Council office at or (717) 334-5006.
