Class Year:

Political Science major and Music minor

SIT Rwanda, Spring 2014

Faculty Mentor:

Donald Tannenbaum

Why I Joined the GLGC:

My time abroad has given me a lot to process and I have undergone internal and external reflection since the beginning of the program. In Rwanda, the group of students I was with underwent similar experiences and the group processing was very healthy and nurturing. While my friends and family in the United States cares immensely about me, they have not participated in the same journey as I did in Rwanda. I am hoping to build on the processing that occurred in my group by connecting with others who may have shared more similar experiences. I am also eager to help encourage others currently considering a semester abroad.
