 Favorite abroad experience:

It's almost physically impossible to pick just one! I would have to say one of my favorite abroad moments was when I was able to have a complete conversation in Italian with my host parents as they told me and my roommate about the homes that they had lived in together throughout their lives. Another of my favorite moments was when my friends and I visited the Lace Museum in Venice. We spent an afternoon talking with one of the women demonstrating how to make lace and learning about her life and the lives of the other women there with her.

 Why I joined GLGC:

I joined GLGC because I wanted to keep and use what I learned from my experience abroad about myself and about the world. Through GLGC, I hope to mentor other students who want to go abroad and find new opportunities to make an impact on the world.

As of right now, I am keeping my options open!
