Mailings
Once a student has been accepted to participate in an off campus studies program, he or she can expect to receive important information from that program provider directly. This typically comes to the student in the form of a mailing and will likely include information on required visas, housing, on-site orientation, course work and other site specific pre-departure information. Relevant materials should be returned to the program provider directly.
The student will also receive a packet of information through campus mail from our office which includes:
- Letter outlining the contents of the mailing
- Payment Understanding Form
- Agreement and Release Form
- Proof of Insurance/Flight Form
- Pamphlet describing study abroad insurance, along with his or her personalized insurance card
- If necessary, a letter addressed to the relevant consulate to support the student's visa application
Relevant materials from this mailing should be returned to our office at Campus Box 421.
A mailing will also be sent to the student's family at their home address which includes:
- Letter outlining the contents of the mailing, important information regarding study abroad insurance coverage, and links to online orientation materials
- Copy of the Payment Understanding Form
- Copy of the Agreement and Release Form
No materials need to be returned from this mailing.
