Eligibility Requirements: 2.5 GPA; Sophomore status when applying; One semester of Portuguese or two semesters of a college-level Romance language other than Portuguese.

Full-time Course Load: 16 CREDITS

Program Dates: Early September through mid-December or mid-February through early June.

Mandatory Coursework: Portuguese for Social and Development Studies (3 credits), Social Justice and Public Policy in Brazil (3 credits), Race, Gender, and Sustainable Development (3 credits), Research Methods and Ethics (3 credits), and Independent Study Project (4 credits)
