Editing Fund for International Faculty

Types of projects supported:

• Payments to a professional editor hired for work on faculty-authored article or paper, book prospectus (up to $750), or manuscript for book under contract (up to $1750).

Who may apply:

• Faculty whose native language is not English and who are publishing scholarly work in English. Priority in funding will go to tenure-track and tenured faculty, but a portion of the funds will be available for visiting and adjunct faculty whose native language is not English.
• Individual faculty members may apply for funding for more than one project per year, but they must provide clear evidence that projects funded previously have been brought to completion or have made substantial progress in order to receive funding for an additional project.

Application deadlines:

• Applications will be reviewed twice each semester, specifically after September 15, November 15, February 15, and April 15.
