Every year The Johnson Center for Creative Teaching organizes a number of  pedagogical workshops and "In the Classroom" discussions.  In the past the Advisory Board has chosen the topics, but this year we would like to try something new.  We wish to ask you directly what your needs are and respond to them as best we can.  Perhaps your department or program has undergone an outside review recently and the resulting recommendations call for significant changes  in your curriculum or the manner in which it is taught.  Perhaps you are integrating new scholarship into your curriculum as the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program has recently done with the addition of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Studies as well as Queer Theory.  Or perhaps you are in the process of rethinking your introductory and intermediate courses as the language departments currently are.

In short, we want to underscore this campus resource, out of mind as it frequently is without a physical space.  The Johnson Center for Creative Teaching is not simply a source for individual funding but is ready to work with groups as well.  If there is a way in which we can support and enhance your teaching, please fill out the request form on our website.
