Mellon Funds for Engaged Learning Opportunities (ELO)

Types of projects supported:

• Course-related engaged learning opportunities for an entire class.
• In most cases, students are expected to pay for a portion of such costs, such as food expenses.

Who may apply:

• Faculty member teaching the course.

Application deadline:

• The annual deadline for applying for such funds for the Fall semester is October 1 and, for the Spring semester, February 1.

How to apply:

• Faculty need to apply for these funds on behalf of the student by completing the online application form.
