Campus Groups
There are many environmentally oriented groups on campus, each with a different focus. The groups work independently and together to raise awareness about sustainability efforts on campus and around the world, to reduce campus' carbon footprint, and discuss sustainability, social justice, and the environment in a constructive manner.
Currently there are four sustainability-themed groups on campus:
- Gettysburg Environmental Concerns Organization (G.E.C.O.)
- Farmhouse: The Sustainability and Social Justice Theme House
- Painted Turtle Farm: A student-run organic garden, and
- Biosphere: An academic club dedicated to the pursuit of the sciences.
Each of these groups is always looking for new faces so feel free to join in, even in the middle of the semester!
