Painted Turtle Farm Home | Environmental Education | Green Goodies | Compost Program

Environmental Studies classes participate in lab sessions led by student garden interns at the Painted Turtle Farm. These interns fully manage the farm's crops and programming during both the academic year and the summer. Children from Gettysburg's Growing Place, the campus daycare center, have participated in lessons at the farm. A new environmental and nutritional education camp called Green Goodies began at the camp in 2008 as part of continuing campus and town community education efforts.
