The six week Green Goodies camp, in collaboration with the Campus Kitchens Project, fosters healthy lifestyles and environmental responsibility in local students, grades K-5 and college students through mutual learning experiences centered on food. The program, developed in 2008, features farming and nutrition, by teaching students skills like gleaning, composting, organic farming, and choosing healthy foods which will help them cultivate a health relationship between their food and health for the rest of their lives.
