Compact fluorescent light bulb campaign
The Gettysburg Environmental Concerns Organization (GECO) and Gettysburg Research and Action by Students for Sustainability (GRASS) partnered to distribute and promote CFLs to students. The campaign sought to reduce energy use in residence buildings while educating the student body about conservation. While Gettysburg College's energy use is below that of equivalent institutions, there are always improvements to be made and opportunities to educate.
