Senior student research projects

Environmental Studies and other academic departments encourage students to carry out self-designed independent research related to environmental initiatives.

In 2008 three students focused specifically on the Gettysburg College campus.

• Marissa Mizeski conducted a greenhouse gas emissions evaluation of our campus.

• Miriam Parson evaluated student environmental attitudes and behaviors for positive change when exposed to our campus's programs.

• Keith Reinneman experimented with biodiesel production as a potential fuel source for Gettysburg College's vehicles.
