Calynn Dowler
Editor in Chief, German
Calynn Dowler (Class of 2010) is currently working toward majors in German and Political Science. In the past she has studied both German and French. In her time at Gettysburg College, Calynn has served as a Peer Teaching Assistant in both introductory- and intermediate-level German classes. She has also worked as a research assistant, private German tutor, and interpreter. In the spring of 2007 she worked on a collaborative literary translation of Deutscher Mondschein by Wilhelm Raabe. She has also acted as secretary of Amnesty International and German Club president. Calynn will spend the 2008-09 academic year improving her German at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität-Heidelberg in Heidelberg, Germany.
Jeremy Bilotti
Web Design and Technological Assistance
Jeremy Bilotti (Class of 2010) is currently working toward a major in Computer Science. In his time at Gettysburg College, Jeremy has served as an active volunteer firefighter with the Gettysburg Fire Department and is a brother of Phi Gamma Delta. He has also worked as a teaching assistant for introductory level Computer Science courses and has developed a strong interest in web development and design.
Jessica Cox
Editorial Board, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese
Jessie Cox (Class of 2008), has a major in World Languages with a Concentration in Spanish and a minor in Writing. She has studied German, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese during her four years at Gettysburg College and is beginning a graduate program in Spanish Linguistics at Georgetown University in the fall.

David Ey
Editorial Board, German
David Ey (Class of 2010) is a German major at Gettysburg College. During the 2008-09 academic year, he will be studying in Ankara, Turkey and Heidelberg, Germany. During his time abroad, he will study how Turkish culture changes for Turkish immigrants living in Germany.

Jessica Marshall
Editorial Board, Photos and Creative Writing
Jessica Marshall (Class of 2011) is working toward a major in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in German. In the second semester of her freshman year she worked as a Peer Teaching Assistant for an introduction-level German class. Jessica also works in the Off-Campus Studies office helping students who want to study outside of Gettysburg on semester and year-long programs, both domestically and abroad. She will be an Orientation Leader for the class of 2012 and will be living in a Theme House promoting Autism Awareness during the 2008-09 academic year.

Anne Marie Wheeler
Editorial Board, German
Anne Marie Wheeler (Class of 2010) is working toward a major in German and Education. She has worked as a Peer Teaching Assistant for introductory and intermediate German classes, as well as a private tutor. While studying abroad in Cologne, Germany, in the fall of 2007, Anne Marie stayed with a family and immersed herself in the culture by joining a traditional German band. From the spring 2008 semester to present, Anne Marie has worked as a German translator. In the 2008-09 academic year, Anne Marie will serve as German Club president.
