Mike DeLue is a member of the Gettysburg College class of 2012 and with interests in languages, music, art, food and culture is planning on a major in globalization studies. Currently continuing his study of Japanese from high-school he also has a background in German and Spanish. Mike is planning on studying abroad at Kansai Gaidai University in Hirakata city his Junior year and was a summer editor for the 2009 edition of the journal.
Anne Marie Wheeler

Anne Marie Wheeler (Class of 2010) is working toward a major in German and Education. She has worked as a Peer Teaching Assistant for introductory and intermediate German classes, as well as a private tutor. While studying abroad in Cologne, Germany, in the fall of 2007, Anne Marie stayed with a family and immersed herself in the culture by joining a traditional German band. From the spring 2008 semester to present, Anne Marie has worked as a German translator. In the 2008-09 academic year, Anne Marie served as German Club president and has participated in Accent since it began in spring 2008.

Jessica (Class of 2011) is an English major with a Writing concentration, also working towards minors in German and Africana Studies. She has been a part of Accent for the last two years, since its beginning in the Spring of 2008. Jessica works as a Student Assistant in Gettysburg's Off-Campus Studies Office and will be studying abroad at Rhodes University in Grahamstown, South Africa (Fall 2009) as well as on the ASE program in Bath, England (Spring 2010). She is currently a member of Sigma Tau Delta, a national English honors society, and has been involved with Gettysburg's Peer Teaching Assistant program (German) as well as Residence Life as an Orientation Leader. Jessica was born in Peterborough, England but has lived in Lakeville, Connecticut for the past 20 years.
Editorial Board, French
Jenna, a 2009 graduate, joined Accent her senior year. She was a French major and studied abroad twice. In the fall of 2007, she participated in the London/Lancaster program in England, and in the fall of 2008, she studied abroad in Avignon, France. Jenna plans on taking the MCATs in the summer of 2009 and applying to medical school in the fall.
