2010 CPC Africana Studies Conference at Gettysburg College
Gettysburg College and the Africana Studies program will be hosting the annual CPC Africana Studies conference in the spring of 2010.
The 2004 and 2007 conferences hosted by Gettysburg College and Africana Studies were very successful, attracting scholars from around the country. Our past panelists have included promising graduate students, rising junior faculty scholars, and senior scholars with national and international reputations.
The conferences have included performances by well-known musicians and a growing art exhibition.
The theme of the 2010 conference will be "Public Policy in the African Diaspora: Public Health Policy."
