Jessica Marshall, Class of 2011

Jessica was born in Peterborough, England but has spent nearly all of her life in Connecticut. She has worked with Residence Life as an orientation Leader (Fall 2008) and currently lives in a Theme House on North Washington Street. She has been accepted to study on back-to-back abroad programs: Rhodes University in Grahamstown, South Africa in the Fall and the ASE program in Bath, England during the Spring. The fall will mark her return to South Africa, where she spent a month studying in Cape Town during her senior year of high school. She serves as an editor-in-chief of the Accent Journal, Gettysburg's online journal for the languages. She is using her AFS minor as a way to expand upon her knowlege and love of the African culture.
