American Bar Foundation

The American Bar Foundation offers Summer Research Fellowships in Law and Social Science for Minority Undergraduate Students. According to the foundation, these opportunities are designed "to interest undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds in pursuing graduate study in the social sciences."

Yale University's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences/Office for Diversity and Equal Opportunity offers a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program (SURF)  The eight-week program is based on the Yale campus in New Haven, CT.

UC Berkeley Junior Summer Institute:

The University of California at Berkeley offers a Public Policy and International Affairs Junior Summer Institute.  This seven-week program is designed to improve the analytical and quantitative skills that are vital to success at top-level graduate programs in public policy and international affairs.
