The Gettysburg College Health Professions Committee helps students meet the challenges of planning for and applying to medical schools and other graduate programs in the health professions, including nursing, physician assisting, dentistry, optometry, physical therapy, podiatry, chiropractic, and veterinary medicine.

In addition to a strong, flexible curriculum and excellent facilities, Gettysburg College provides individualized guidance, internship and volunteer opportunities, and special relationships with graduate programs. Our Health Professions Advising program is set within a liberal arts context that is increasingly valuable as graduate schools demand more well-rounded students, trained in analytical and critical thinking and problem solving, and demonstrating exceptional communication skills and a life-long desire to learn.
