This four-movement set offers a whimsical taste of four of America’s preeminent composers: Leonard Bernstein, Charles Ives, Duke Ellington and John Philip Sousa.  Each movement begins with a limerick, read by the master of limericks as heard weekly on NPR’s Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me, Mr. Carl Kasell.  The Gettysburg College Wind Symphony was a member of the commissioning consortium for this work.
