An endowment given by the Emma G. Musselman Foundation in 1977 supports an annual workshop or presentation by guest artists and scholars. For example, in 2009, Miles Hoffmann - violist, NPR music commentator and founder of the American Chamber Players - came to campus for events surrounding the bicentennial celebration of Abraham Lincoln's birth. In March 2012, we welcomed Walter Everett, Gettysburg alumnus and Professor of Theory at the Universty of Michigan. He spoke about his books, The Foundation of Rock and The Beatles as Musicians.
