Brass students at the Sunderman Conservatory have the opportunity to study with our faculty, some of the nation's finest performers and pedagogues. Studio teaching is often supplemented by master classes by visiting performers and in studio classes, where students perform in front of their peers and receive constructive feedback.
We welcome students of all kinds, from non-majors to Bachelor of Music students pursuing a career in performance. Music majors with a brass instrument as their primary instrument have a weekly lesson. Music minors and non-majors have a weekly half-hour lesson. Each semester's lessons culminate with a juried performance.
