In addition to classrooms, practice facilities, and a technology lab within Schmucker Hall, main home for the Sunderman Conservatory, students have access to a variety of one-of-a-kind performance venues.

Formal performance venues include the Majestic Theater, a revitalized historic landmark and former vaudeville stage; Paul Recital Hall, an acoustically rich environment for solo and chamber music located inside Schmucker Hall; and the College Chapel.

Other casual performance spaces on campus include The Junction and The Attic, which are more suitable for small student performances and amplified groups. Both spaces are good for jazz, and frequently the Conservatory’s “Brown Bag Jazz” performances take place in The Junction.

Academic music library materials, as well as performing editions for solo instruments and chamber ensembles, are collected and maintained in Musselman Library. These include critical editions and other music scores, scholarly and pedagogical literature, journals, audio-visual and electronic resources.
