The Adams County Historical Society's mission is to identify, preserve, and tell the stories of the people, organizations, businesses, and events that have shaped Adams County, Pennsylvania.

The AACHS is home to an interesting collection of material related to the American Civil War and the Battle of Gettysburg which students are able to access both as researchers and as interns learning in-depth archival practices.
