Courses Taught: Introduction to Shakespeare
Suzanne Tartamella teaches courses in Shakespeare and English composition, assists in the Writing Center, and works as an ESL tutor for the Asian Studies Department. Her scholarly interests include Shakespeare’s sonnets and plays, Elizabethan and Jacobean poetry, and the eighteenth- and nineteenth-century novel. She is a recipient of a Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fellowship and is currently completing her Ph.D. through the University of Maryland. Her dissertation focuses on skepticism, praise, wonder, and satire in Shakespeare, especially in the sonnets and Hamlet.
