Will Lane received his B.A. from Gettysburg College and holds a master's degree from the Graduate Institute at St. John's in Annapolis, Maryland. He is a poet whose publications include two books, Moonlight Standing In As Cordelia (1981) and Elegy for Virginia Redding (1989). He received the Hart Crane Award in 1998 for his poem "In the Barn of the God," which is part of a series of poems retelling the myth of Eros and Psyche.
