John Douglas Miller

J. Doug Miller has taught college English for more than forty years on various campuses, including University of California at Davis, University of Maryland at College Park, and Gallaudet University from which he retired as a tenured professor. His teaching specialty is English 101. He resides in Walkersville, Maryland. When he is not grading papers, he rides both his motorcycles and his bicycle on the pleasant country roads near his home. As the father of four boys, he thinks he understands some of the challenges of being a young adult in a world fraught with adversity and contradiction at every turn.
