Facilities and Housing
Participants will learn in electronic classrooms in the College's Science Center, and have access to the computer labs in Glatfelter Hall. The campus is set up for continuous wireless network use, which participants will be able to access when they arrive. The college library is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the week.

Participants will reside in Paxton Hall, located on the northeast side of campus, handicapped accessible, and is a short walk to most academic buildings. Each room in Paxton has a private bathroom, air conditioning and tiled floors. Each room also has at least one window with blinds, microfridge, bookshelf, and mirror (attached to the dresser). Each person is provided with an extra-long (38 inches x 80 inches x 6 1/2 inches) bed, linens; a desk and chair; a dresser and closet space. Laundry room is located on the first floor.
To make your stay most comfortable, please remember that this is a dormitory room. Suggested items to bring with you are as follows:
bed sheets
pillow
bath towels
toiletries including shampoo and hand soap
alarm clock
The local Walmart is open 24 hours and available for you to pick up any forgotten items.
Meals can be taken in the Specialty Dining Section of the Dining Hall for lunch and dinner. Meals are also available in the College Union Building at the Commons Cafe or Bullet Hole. Breakfast for World History Institute Participants will be served in Glatfelter Lodge Monday through Friday.
