Hatter Planetarium

  planetarium

Nature uses only the longest threads to weave her patterns, so that each small piece of her fabric reveals the organization of the entire tapestry. -Richard Feynman

Welcome to the web pages for HATTER PLANETARIUM, serving the Gettysburg College campus and surrounding community since 1966 - and offering more all the time! You can learn what to look for in your own backyard with our The Sky This Month shows, attend shows on a variety of other astronomical topics, and book shows for school and community groups. All of our programs are free.

Hatter Planetarium is located in the north wing of the Physics Department's Masters Hall (the building with the fountain in front of it) on the Gettysburg College campus, and was built in 1966 as the result of a generous gift from Mr. and Mrs. George G. Hatter.
