Judy L. Jones

Judy started work at Gettysburg College in January 1992, as secretary to the Dean of Admissions; with her desk right at the front door of Eisenhower House, she was privileged to greet and assist many prospective students and their parents - and obtain a first-hand appreciation of the number of friendly, hardworking, motivated young people there are in this world! She moved to Masters Hall as office administrator for the Physics Department in the summer of 1994, a position, working with super students and first-rate faculty, she enjoys very much. She has also been fortunate to work with Environmental Studies before its move to the Science Center, and for African American Studies. She presently assists the Health Professions Committee in its work helping Gettysburg College students through the processes of pursuing careers in various health professions. She is a graduate of Stone Ridge in Bethesda, Maryland, and the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. While in the past she has enjoyed traveling (and occasionally still does), she now enjoys home, family, garden, good books and good friends (not always in that order).
