Physics Department inducts three new Sigma Pi Sigma members

Asnika Bajracharya ‘14, Brian Flood ‘14, and David Thompson ‘14 were all inducted into the physics honor society, Sigma Pi Sigma, today. These students are awarded this honor through a strong academic performance throughout their physics careers.
 
Sigma Pi Sigma is the top physics honor society and has had over 75,000 members throughout since its founding in 1921. As stated on its website, its mission is “to honor outstanding scholarship in physics; to encourage interest in physics among students at all levels; to promote an attitude of service of its members towards their fellow students, colleagues, and the public; to provide a fellowship of persons who have excelled in physics.”
