Psychology Research Laboratories
We have research opportunities in the following laboratories: developmental psychology, behavioral and cognitive neuroscience, social psychology, cognitive psychology, and personality psychology. Every faculty member has an active program of research that has students as an integral part. Students collect data (from human subjects or rats!), help with statistical analyses and presentation of results (e.g. research posters), and even join faculty at national conferences. Student-faculty collaboration is a win-win effort: students come to understand the process that underlies all psychological theory and their work in the lab is critical to graduate work and many job opportunities. Faculty could not maintain a successful research agenda without student involvement.
