Guides to Audio Recording
All sociology and anthropology students are encouraged to use IT's (Information Technology's) collection of digital recorders, along with the Transcriber program that is available on co-lab computers for transcribing interviews. Avoiding Plagiarism
A) A website from the University of Victoria called "Acknowledging Your Sources" discusses plagiarism and how to avoid it through proper citations.  Other useful sites discuss paraphrasing and summarizing and using evidence from published sources. Click here

B) Another useful website on plagiarism, "Plagiarism in Colleges in U.S.A.," explains what plagiarism is and why it constitutes fraud that violates copyright laws. Click here
