Need based Finanical Aid
Most financial aid at Gettysburg is awarded to families with demonstrated financial need. Aid amounts are linked to a family's financial situation, and aid may be in the form of grants, loans, or employment.
We look at many factors when determining eligibility for aid. Much of that information comes from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Financial Aid PROFILE, an aid application of the College Scholarship Service. New candidates for need-based aid must submit FAFSA and PROFILE applications. Only the FAFSA is required for continuing students.
