Tony Awards Committee honors Charlotte Wilcox ’69 for Excellence in Theatre

This year, the Tony Awards Committee honored Gettysburg College alumna Charlotte Wilcox ’69 for Excellence in Theatre at the Paramount Hotel's Diamond Horseshoe on June 2.

Wilcox has been a leader in the industry for more 40 years. As a general manager and founder of The Charlotte Wilcox Company, she has provided guidance and leadership for more than 100 shows, including serving as a producer of Beautiful – The Carol King Musical, a 2014 Tony Award nominee for best musical.

She has also served as general manager for productions of Fiddler on the RoofMy Fair LadyCyrano, all three Broadway productions of GreaseJesus Christ SuperstarThe Full MontyTabooDirty Rotten ScoundrelsThe Drowsy ChaperoneCome Fly AwayWest Side Story, and Catch Me If You Can.
