Joyce Sprague, Academic Administrative Assistant for Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, began working at Gettysburg College in 1984. She has served on numerous College committees, including the President's Commission on Women, the President's Commission on Diversity, the College's Grievance Committee, the Support Staff Council, and the Conflict Resolution and Mediation Committee. She also serves on the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program Advisory Council and its Academic Steering Committee. Working full time and studying part time, Joyce graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Gettysburg College in 2003, majoring in Classical Studies and minoring in Religion. In her private life, she is a breast cancer survivor and serves as a Reach to Recovery volunteer for the American Cancer Society.
