Stephanie A. Sellers teaches topics in Native American studies in three departments (English, Womens Studies, and Interdisciplinary Studies). She holds a doctoral degree in Native American Studies with an emphasis on women of the Eastern Woodlands from Union Institute & University where she studied with Paula Gunn Allen. She has written two books both published with Peter Lang Publishingher most recent is Native American Womens Studies: A Primer (2008). She is currently an invited lecturer on the National Womens Studies Associations speakers bureau.
