Get Acquainted Day

Ask current students why they chose Gettysburg, and you will inevitably hear about the famous orange dots. They're a tradition on Get-Acquainted Day, a springtime celebration when Gettysburg welcomes accepted and enrolled students and their families. Watch the 2008 "Got the Dot" video.

What makes students choose Gettysburg? Maybe it's a member of the Campus Activities Board you met at the "Expo."  Maybe it's the Physics professor whose energy sparked your dream of on-campus research. Or maybe it's the feeling of walking around our beautiful campus with your future classmates.

One way or another, we're confident that the more you know about Gettysburg, the more you'll want it to be your home for the next four years (and your lifetime!).
