Springfest
Another popular Gettysburg College tradition that occurs in the late spring on Stine Lake consisting of concerts, games, barbeques, food stands, and many other activities throughout the weekend
OCS- Off-Campus Studies- the study abroad office located on the second floor of the CUB and dedicated to finding a program that fits with each individual student; over 50% of Gettysburg students study abroad for a semester
Servo (sir-voh)- the main dining center on campus; name inherited from the company who oversaw the dining center in the 1980's even though all meals today are prepared on-site
Snowball- a semi-formal dance each February with a night of music, food, and dancing

Stine Lake- not really a lake - a grassy commons area central to campus; got its name because, prior to the library's construction in the 1970's, it would flood frequently; now it used for a variety of impromptu games, reading, relaxing, and the location of Spring Fest
Thanksgiving Dinner- a Gettysburg tradition during which gather with their friends and head to Servo for a full Thanksgiving dinner- unlimited turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, pumpkin pie and more; the best part is that your professors serve the meal!
