By creating a myGettysburg account, applicants to Gettysburg College can review which of their required documents have been received. Please note that it may take 24-48 hours for an account to be processed.
What email address should I use for a myGettysburg account?
Please use the email address provided with a student's application when creating a myGettysburg account. This will assist with the process of matching the student's myGettysburg account to their admissions application records.
Where in myGettysburg is the application checklist?
Once your myGettysburg account has been processed, there will be links on both the left and right-hand sides of the myGettysburg home page to the Application Checklist.
What if I already have a myGettysburg account?
You can use your existing username (your email address) and password to access myGettysburg. Once your application has been received, your myGettysburg account will reflect your application information.
Can I use myGettysburg to find out my admissions decision?
Admissions decisions are mailed to students and will not be posted in myGettysburg. You can expect your admissions decision to be mailed approximately:
- mid-December for Early Decision I (Nov. 15 application deadline)
- mid-February for Early Decision II (Jan. 15 application deadline)
- late March for Regular Decision (Feb. 1 application deadline)
I haven't applied yet. Can I check if my transcript has been received?
myGettysburg will only show documents which have been processed for students from whom we have received an application. Once we have received your application, it can take a few days for your supporting materials to be processed and listed in myGettysburg. You are also welcome to contact the Admissions Office at 800-431-0803 at any time to check your application and other supporting documents.
