Academic highlights: My First Year Seminar, Secrets and Lies with Professor DeNicola, was a great introduction to college. I love that the people in my class were also on my floor; it gave us the chance to know each other outside of class so we were more comfortable discussing during class. The students in my class have become my closest friends.

Extracurricular highlights: I love the Dance Ensemble! It has provided me with lots of opportunities to let loose and express my creativity. It's a wonderful way to meet tons of people and then work together to create a great production for the entire school.

After Gettysburg: I plan to attend graduate school to become a researcher in immunology or pathology.

What should new students know? Gettysburg is a great place for students who seek independence to do what they love but still have people around them to support and provide any kind of guidance they seek. Gettysburg is not a place for bystanders; everyone expects you to find a passion and pursue it.
