Academic highlights: I've been on the Dean's List and the Dean's list with honors. I declared a Health science major. Studying abroad for a semester in the fall of 2010 to Copenhagen, Denmark.

Extracurricular  highlights: I played golf for Gettysburg the spring of my freshman year. I play on a field hockey intramural team. I am a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority and the pre-health professions club. I worked with preschool children at WeeCare through the Center for Public Service during my freshman year.

After Gettysburg:  I plan to take a year off to shadow a Physician's Assitant in order to acquire experience and then attend physician's assistant school. I would ideally love to specialize in pediatrics.

What should new students know? The student life is amazing and there are always so many ways to get involved. The campus is gorgeous, and the faculty are supportive, fun, and always get to know you.

Academic highlights: I made the Dean's List last year. I declared a health science major and am planning my abroad experience to Denmark now!

Extracurricular  highlights: I led two trips through the Gettysburg Recreation Adventure Board (GRAB). One to North Carolina to sea kayak for eight days and another rock climbing in Arizona for eight days. I am in the Alpha Delta Pi sorority, and I act as ritual chair. I live in a theme house, and I love it! I ran indoor track for a year. I have won two intramural championships. I practiced with the women's soccer team last year, and I played club rugby. You can do it all here!

After Gettysburg: I also want to go to either physician assistant school or physical therapy school and then work with athletes and kids.

What should new students know? Gettysburg is a great place: it's academically challenging, a beautiful campus, and offers a great sense of community and it's a comfortable place to learn.
