Academic highlights: As a political scientist, being able to work in a Chemistry lab on a grant for green chemistry experiments showed me the link between public policy and science. It helped me connect ideas across disciplines which I used in my Fulbright application. Being awarded a Fulbright Scholarship on a subject linking science and policy allowed me to take what I learned in the classroom and apply it to my future.
Social highlights: Coming to Gettysburg, my friends were my biggest teachers. They taught me to relax and let go. I came to Gettysburg focused on my academics and am leaving a more well-rounded student.
After Gettysburg: I will be studying in the United Kingdom next year on a Fulbright Scholarship in the field of transportation policy. I hope to be a professor that looks at law and transportation issues.
