Academic highlights: I completed a capstone course for my Political Science major. I enjoyed this class because it allowed me to further my research on a topic that I love and allowed me to work closely with a professor. Many of the classes are small, which allows the professors to really get to know their students.

Social highlights: I love music, and Gettysburg is great at providing opportunities for me to remain in musical groups without having to major in music. The times are flexible and the friends I have made in marching band and in other ensembles have lasted all four years. I am also a member of the music greek organization on campus, Sigma Alpha Iota, and the friendships I have made there are irreplaceable.

What should new students know? There are so many fun things going on on campus. The dining center has themed dinners every month or so and I love going in and seeing all the staff dressed up. Midnight madness is also a great way the college allows students to relieve stress. The college really understands student life, and plans a lot of fun activities.
