Academic highlights: Without a doubt, my fall semester abroad in Melbourne, Australia is a highlight of my Gettysburg experience. The entire five months was a life-changing experience. Another highlight was my Abstract Mathematics class, my first math class at Gettysburg, was a true bonding experience for the entire class. My math research classes were also incredible.
Extracurricular highlights: I love playing in Jazz, Marching, and Concert band. Living in a theme house (The Blue Note Jazz House) is also a huge component of my Gettysburg experience. The Annual Swing Dance, that our theme house organizes, is a crucial component of my yearly calendar. I also play for one of the Gettysburg Ultimate Frisbee teams. Each person brings a great personality to this team and makes it a family, on and off the field.
After Gettysburg: AmeriCorps and the Graduate school for Mathematics
What should new students know? The campus, the people, the faculty, and the attitude. Each plays a crucial role in making Gettysburg the college it is. Each work together in a beautiful way to make this campus the right place.
